6.4.2013 – BJJ

June 4, 2013

Primarily worked a basic move from side control – if they roll into you and leave the arm out, simply post on head, spin around to block back, and kimura arm.  Key point of performance – swim the free arm under their armpit to set up the kimura grip.

If they grab the belt or the gi, fish tail of gi and pin wrist with the down arm, reach around with top arm, pull back into back mount.

Five star sweep:  If they stand up in your full guard and you lose grips, hook one ankle with elbow, roll over opposite shoulder to hook side, keeping control of leg – end up in single leg position.
